Power Distribution

• Splits an incoming electrical power feed into multiple secondary or subsidiary circuits     
  • Power Distribution Panel (PDP) / Power Distribution Hub (PDH): distributes power from a 12VDC battery to various robot components
    • 20 high-current channels (40A)
    • 4 low-current channels (15A), 1 switchable
    • 2 CAN channels
      
  • Voltage Regulator Module (VRM): regulates and lowers the voltage going into a device, used to avoid exceeding the device’s maximum voltage capacities
    
    • Used for devices that require a stable, non-changing voltage
      • Robot radio, custom circuits, and IP vision cameras
    • Wired to a dedicated connector on the PDP

Communication Devices

• Network Switch: provides connectivity for multiple devices in a local area network; designed to facilitate the transfer of data between devices connected to the switch, allowing for better communication and network management. Devices use RJ45 Ethernet connections.
• REV Radio Power Module: provides power to the radio
• Radio: provides wireless communication to the robot

Limelight Devices

• Limelight: a specialized computer vision camera system for robot navigation and object detection
  
• POE Injector: combines network data and power into a singular Ethernet port (the Limelight 4s no longer support POE)

Servo Power Module

• Servo Power Module: provides power to servos beyond what the roboRIO is capable of
