Mini Fuses

  • Plugs into Mini PDP, allows power to travel to devices
  • Top has the number of AMPs labeled on it

WAGO Lever Nuts

  • Makes a connection between two wires
  • Tug on the wire to verify connection
  • If it does come out, double check the length and smooth out the copper

CAN Lever Nuts

  • Makes a connection between two CAN wires
  • Tug on the wire to verify connection
  • Make sure to close down all the way -- otherwise wires WILL come out

Ferrules

  • Used to secure/terminate wire ends

CAN Clips

  • Holds dupont CAN connections together, and ensures that it will not come loose while driving 
  • Won’t ever need to make a dupont connection in pit

Stubs

  • An out/an in spliced into a connection

Electrical Tape

  • Taping broken slits of wires CASING (casing ONLY -- not wire)
  • To cover up ports on Rio, PDH, etc. to protect metal shards from falling into them
  • Shields and insulates wires to protect them
  • All exposed and not plugged in wires must be wrapped (power only)\

VHB Tape

  • Very strong double sided tape 
  • Pressure activated
    • Must press down really hard to activate
  • Used for securing two flat surfaces together
  • Extremely difficult to take off -- so be careful when sticking it on
  • Usually for radio, switch, etc.
